 General Information
 BMI Tools’ imprint methods require camera ready black & white artwork. Electronic format is preferred in file types EPS, Adobe Illustrator®, PDF, or Tiff. File resolution must be 300dpi or greater. Please call factory to see if other formats are acceptable. Please email your art file to bmitools@aol.com. We also require a hard copy printout of the file with your order.
We will spend up to 30 minutes, on a no charge basis, to make the submitted artwork camera ready. Additional time required will be billed at an hourly rate of 35.00(R). This additional work must be authorized before done. Unless a special request is made, artwork will be sized for the best fit. In most cases this is the maximum imprint area listed for each item. |
SET-UP CHARGES
$60.00(R) per color / per location for preparation of printing plate and machine set-up (unless otherwise indicated). No charge on subsequent orders using exact same logo & size (unless otherwise indicated). First imprint color is included in catalog prices.

IMPRINT COLORS
Factory will “sight” match to any PMS color (except items on pages 3-7). Exact matches are subject to a laboratory charge and extra lead-time. Color shades may vary slightly on re-orders. |
PROOFS / SPEC SAMPLES
Fax or email proof available at no charge. Actual speculative sample available for the item set-up charge plus item running charge plus cost of item. Please inquire.

COMBINED QUANTITY PRICING
Allowed if imprint remains the same size, color, and content on all items ordered. Each product ordered must meet the catalog minimum. |
ADDITIONAL IMPRINT COLORS
For each additional imprint color add a $60.00 (R) Set-up charge plus the following per piece running charges (applies to all items except cloth tapes, see individual cloth tape items for extra color charges):

LARGE QUANTITY ORDERS
Additional discounts available on large quantity orders. Please call factory for special quotation on quantities of 2,500 or more. |
UNIMPRINTED MERCHANDISE
Use price two quantities higher than quantity ordered. Items Tailor’s Tape, Auto-Return Cloth Tapes, Diameter & Architects Tapes, Seam Ripper use one quantity up. |
LESS THAN MINIMUM ORDERS
Absolute minimum is 1/2 of the smallest catalog quantity price for item ordering. Add $0.83(R) per piece. No less than minimum available on cloth tape items. |
RE-ORDERS
No Set-up charges for exact repeat orders except custom versions of item #519. There is 50% charge to re-do the custom screens after 2 years of no order activity. All other artwork is kept on file for 3 years (unless otherwise indicated). |
PRODUCTION TIMES
In stock items shipped in 5-10 business days after proof approval. Items on pages 3-7 require 20 business days after proof approval. Items on pages 3-7 also carry a 5% under/over allowance due to manufacturing process. |
SHIPPING
F.O.B. Roanoke, Va. via UPS or FEDEX ground service unless otherwise requested. All claims for non-delivery or damage must be made within 10 days of ship date. Published rates are charged plus $3.00 per package handling and package insurance per carrier guidelines. Split shipments $10.00(R) for each destination. |

CANCELLATIONS
Must be approved by factory and submitted in writing. All costs for work performed to that point will be charged accordingly.
